BRENNAN ACADEMY CLASS GROUPINGS

WELCOMING ALL KIDS FROM TODDLERS TO TEENAGERS

3 – 4 years

 40mins - (€100 per 10 week term)

This 40 minute class incorporates music, dance and drama and gives students the chance to develop performance skills from a very young age. However, the main emphasis of the class is first and foremost FUN! The tutor will also aim to develop a sense of rhythm and imagination, to build confidence, nurture an interest in the arts and to encourage students to interact with one another through the use of drama games, songs and movement.

Students' main shows are held annually (usually Term 3) and parents/guardians are also invited to our classes at some point throughout the school year for a 'fly on the wall' showcase experience. This is a great opportunity for parents/guardians to see exactly what their child/teen learns in our weekly classes.

5 – 7 years

1 hour 15 minutes - (€130 per 10 week term or in some schools this class is 1hr 30 mins @ €140)

This session gives students the opportunity to develop dance, drama and singing abilities in a highly enjoyable manner. Dance will incorporate styles such as musical theatre, modern, and jazz. During singing the tutor will develop the natural voice e.g. tuning and projection, encourage singing with confidence in both solo and group work. Drama exercises will help to develop stagecraft, imagination, confidence, vocal technique, group participation and also an introduction to script and audition technique.

This is all delivered in a supportive, lively, and fun filled class. Students' main shows are held annually (usually Term 3) and parents/guardians are also invited to our classes at some point throughout the school year for a 'fly on the wall' showcase experience. This is a great opportunity for parents/guardians to see exactly what their child/teen learns in our weekly classes.

8 – 11 years and 12 – 17 years

1 hour 30 mins - €150 per 10 week term (or in some schools this is a 2hr class @ €160 per 10 week term)

This class includes Dance, Drama and Singing and is filled with laughter, excitement and fun as tutors encourage students to reach their full potential while at the same time treating all students according to their needs - whether they are there purely for the enjoyment of it or because they really want to stretch themselves in the field of performance.

The dance section will incorporate jazz, modern, contemporary and musical theatre. The Drama/Singing will include vocal technique, tuning, breath control, acting and singing with confidence, stagecraft, improvisation, characterisation, script work in theatre and TV/film and audition technique.

Classes are creative, challenging, fun and energetic! Students' main shows are held annually (usually Term 3) and parents/guardians are also invited to our classes at some point throughout the school year for a 'fly on the wall' showcase experience.
