Noella Brennan - Artistic Director


Noella has enjoyed teaching drama for over 15 years. While in London she worked with various Stage Schools including the prestigous Chessington Stagecoach Company where her students had the opportunity of performing at Her Majesty's Theatre, the home to Phantom of the Opera. Another one of her students successfully auditioned to get a role in the West End revival of Oliver. Noella loves every minute of running BAPA with her sisters, from teaching drama + singing within the classroom to putting productions on stage, to taking part in various events. She also takes immense pride in seeing kids overcome personal limitations, grow in confidence, talent and indeed for many to succed in working professionally in the industry. There is never a dull moment but she wouldn't have it any other way.

As a professional actress she has most recently appeared on stage as Maria in the critically acclaimed show Gotta Make That Train. Prior to that she took on the role of June Carter, one of her musical idols, in The Man In Black also at the Tivoli Theatre. Noella has also starred on Fair City as the very officious Marianne Johnson, not to mention the long suffering wife of 'Donal' in the recent Bord Gais commercials. Previous to this she has worked with RTE, BBC, The National Theatre (Brian Friels - The Aristocrats), the Royal Albert Hall and the Olympia Theatre (Rent, The Musical) as well as acting in numerous theatres in London and around Great Britian. She was also fortunate enough to tour the east coast of America as a Principal singer/performer, a tour which culminated in a performance at Madison Square Gardens. Noella trained at the Drama Studio London, previous to this she graduated with a Degree in 'Communications - Film and Broadcasting' awarded by Trinity College.


Laura Brennan - Academy Director


Laura received a first class honors degree in teaching performing arts from Trinity Guildhall London. She has been teaching performing arts for the past 10 years in stage schools in Wexford and Dublin.


Laura's love of performing arts began at the tender age of just 4 when she performed as an actress, singer and dancer in musical theatre. Growing up she was involved in numerous productions both on stage and professionally within RTE. She also rocked the nation's airwaves for three years as a regular guest artist on 2FM's very popular Saturday morning sketch show. In more recent years, Laura has toured extensively to all corners of Ireland and further afield. A competitive dancer, Laura won her first All-Ireland dance championship, aged 10 years.


Throughout her schooling, Laura danced professionally in many of Ireland's leading venues and performed for many VIP's including Mary McAleese, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks.

Laura continued to train in all areas of dance to include musical theatre, jazz, contemporary, hip hop and Latin ballroom. She received two first class honour degrees from Trinity College London in Musical Theatre and Drama. She is a regular attendee of Dance Ireland Studio, taking masterclasses and workshops. She incorporates both degrees in her training programme for tots to teens, creating classes full of energy, creativity and technically fun and innovative group routines. Laura loves to train young talent and bring her wealth of experience to the dance room at BAPA, where she incorporates all aspects of performance to her classes. Storytelling through dance and movement allows for all students of all levels to have fun and grow in their own confidence and ability.


Ronnie McCann - Teacher & Talent Manager



Ronnie McCann trained at the Royal Academy of Music and Drama and at Lee Strasberg in New York. As a professional Actor he has appeared in numerous UK television dramas including Eastenders, Doctors, Taggart, The Bill and was a regular on Casualty for several years. He has appeared in several feature films including The Acid House and more recently Shadow Dancer which was widely acclaimed. On stage he was in the original Trainspotting at the Citizens Theatre where he also became Assistant Director. He then founded the theatre company Curam and directed much new writing at the Citizens Theatre.

Ronnie taught Acting for Camera at Mountview for two years and still directs their Showcases in London's West End. He has been a teacher at many top institutions including the Actors Centre in Covent Garden London, the London School of Dramatic Art, University of the Arts London and the Drama Centre. In addition to teaching various programs such as Acting, Improvisation and Acting for Camera, he has also devised courses, most notably 'Directing for Theatre' which he successfully ran for seven years at London's esteemed City Lit. Ronnie has been actively involved with devising content for BAPA classes and introduced Actors Lab classes to our teen students who wish to pursue acting as a career. In addition to keeping busy with directing and teaching, Ronnie is also at the helm of Brennan Acting Agency (adult section).


Fiona Fennelly - Manager and Agent


Fiona is one of Ireland's leading young talent Agents and instrumental in the success of Brennan Acting Agency - Young section. She brings a wealth of experience, drive, determination and hard work to the school. From a very early age Fiona was involved in music, drama and dance. She has worked extensively in the TV and Music industry. Fiona has seen many of the talent she represents thread the boards in theatres across Ireland, including The Abbey Theatre. On screen, Fiona has seen her clients cast in exciting projects, major feature films, nationally and internationally. Many of Brennan Acting Agency's young talent work with world renowned directors and Oscar winning production companies, leading to BAPA students sharing the screen with award winning actors, both here and abroad. Many young actors attending BAPA work as voice over artists, front national commercial campaigns, and can be regularly seen in well known television series.
With the ever expanding success of the Academy & Agency, Fiona has never been more challenged - a challenge which she is very passionate about and one which will take the Academy & Agency from strength to strength.


Sophie Meade - Singing and Drama Teacher


Sophie Meade is a professional singer and actress appearing in "Penny Dreadful" alongside Josh Hartnett and Eva Green. She has also been cast in many shorts, including "Flotsam" and "Turning Point". Appearing as "Caoimhe" in the Irish debut of "Gotta Make That Train" (Tivoli Theatre), Sophie is thrilled to be part of the original cast recordings. Sophie has toured as a vocalist in Ireland, Europe and America and brings with her, years of on stage and studio experience to her young students at BAPA. Sophie has also been cast in various productions at The Abbey Theatre, Dublin and the National Concert Hall.

Sophie loves to combine her love for singing and acting to many of her on stage and screen appearances. She brings a wonderful, youthful approach to her classes at BAPA and is excited to be part of a family run stage school








Morgan C. Jones - Drama Teacher



Morgan C. Jones is one of Ireland's most experienced and versatile actors. As a leading voice-over artist in Ireland he brings a wealth of experience in accent work.

Morgan specialises in improvisation and comedy which is a wonderful foundation for our young actors in training.

Recent credits include Vikings, Detainment, Quantico, The Fox and Legends Of Cambria. Morgan works with many world renowned directors including, most recently, Steven Spielberg. 2019 will see Morgan reprising the role of Charlie Haughey in Fishamble's highly acclaimed production of Haughey/Gregory. Brennan Performing Arts are thrilled to welcome Morgan to the creative team, bringing invaluable stage and screen masterclasses to our young actors.





DONAL COURTNEY- Actors Lab Teacher




Donal trained at the Gaiety School of Acting and has qualifications in Combat and Directing from the British Academy of Dramatic Combat and the University of Ulster. As well as being a professional actor, Donal has worked as a workshop facilitator for a range of public and private organisations including DIAGEO, IES, Kinsale College of Further Education, Kylemore VEC, Young Gaiety Saturday School at the Gaiety School of Acting.  Donal has a wonderful way of bringing out the very best in young actors and at BAPA we are thrilled to welcome him as a great addition to our Actors Lab classes.













Andrea Brennan - Talent Agent

'Agent A' has been working behind the scenes as a Talent Agent with Brennan Performing Arts and Agency for over seven years. In addition to representing our professional adult actors, she is responsible for the content, development, maintenance and social media integration of the Brennan websites.


Andrea was awarded the AlliedSignal Bursary for Academic Excellence before graduating from WIT with an honours degree in Business Studies & French, with CIPD accreditation. She went on to work for AOL Time Warner where she developed an interest in computer systems and coding which lead to her obtaining a National Cert in Computer Programming. As a fan of music, theatre, tv, books, performance, dance and all things dramatic she undertook an intensive acting course at the University of Arts London in which she was tutored by Ronnie McCann. Under his mentorship she combined her business acumen, coding knowledge, social networking skills, love of entertainment and above all her abundance of positive attitude into a career she loves.
